This 6 BR/4 BA home near the ocean has a heated, oversized pool and provides spacious living both inside and out. At 4500 sqft., it comfortably sleeps 21 and is the perfect Hilton Head getaway for any multi-family gathering. In a great location, your 3-minute walk to a magnificent, seldom crowded beach takes you under a canopy of pines, palms and oaks.

You will enter the home in a spectacular great-room with a 2-story cathedral ceiling, massive floor to ceiling fireplace, wet bar that includes a small refrigerator, and a wall mounted 60" plasma TV. You will immediately notice that this is a roomy home decorated in a "beachy" style that is organized for your privacy and comfort.

In front of the decorative fireplace, the family/TV area has two sofas (one is a sleeper), a large coffee table, a love seat and three chairs. It is open to the kitchen and the television is easily viewed from the island and side bar keeping the whole family in the action.

Two walls are floor to ceiling shelves decorated with tasteful accents and favorite books. A raised area offers a spot away from the crowd to have a quiet conversation or catch up on work. Wireless internet keeps you connected to the outside world. Glass doors open to a private deck.

The open living concept continues into a large kitchen with breakfast bar. Adjacent to the kitchen is a sunny dining area with seating for twelve. The dining area features a wall of windows that overlook lush landscape, a patio and the pool. Extra seating is available nearby in both the kitchen and around the corner at the game table.

At the end of the kitchen, a beautiful Carolina room extends across the back of the house. It has two sofas, one of which is a sleeper. This room is surrounded by large windows that offer a view of the entire, private, fenced in back yard.

Outside you can lounge on the patio or swim in an oversized 16' x 38' pool that is surrounded by a manicured lawn and palms. Spanish moss hangs from mature live oak trees that provide late afternoon shade to the pool and patio. A gas grill is located near the patio. A high wood fence encloses the back yard and pool area making it a private setting.

Finishing off the first floor of the home are two bedrooms that share a full bath with a walk in shower only. One bedroom has a king bed, the other has a set of twin trundle beds offering sleeping for four.

At the top of the stairs is a large landing that overlooks the great room below. Off the landing, double doors open into the first master suite. A king bed sits in front of a large slanted window. Your view of the lush foliage and Spanish moss just outside the window gives the illusion of looking into a tropical greenhouse. The first master suite also features a daybed offering a comfy seating area or an extra bed when needed. Also included is a spacious master bath with a spa tub, shower, and his and her sinks.

Off the hall at the end of the upstairs landing is the second master suite. This large room is furnished with two queen beds. There is an ample bath with shower only, and a fun cubby offering another daybed for the adventurous kid.

Down the hallway to the right the fifth bedroom is furnished with another king. The sixth bedroom has a set of twin beds and enough windows to make sleeping there seem like a tree house experience. These bedrooms share a bath with a combination shower and tub. A washer and dryer complete the second floor.

The owners have a huge extended family with kids ranging in age from 2 to 21. This is a house where we can all be together to watch a movie, perform the annual talent show, or share a meal - and it is also a house where everyone can find a private spot to call his own.

Here are some updates made recently: The pool is now heated March through October (except for the warmest months) and since it's not propane there is no need for a deposit!! Also, there are new plasma and LCD TV's throughout, alarm clocks that charge your iPhone and access your playlist. We've added new beds and a sleeper sofa so that our grand total is up to 21.
