The beautiful Singleton area is the newest area that's been developed on Hilton Head Island, SC. It's situated about mid-island, along the ocean between Palmetto Dunes Plantation and the Folly Field area. All these brand new, in 2007, and "newish" properties offer luxury accommodations. The homes and their interiors are beautiful. All have great rooms, luxury kitchens including granite countertops, most bedrooms offer private baths, many have high speed internet, balconies, large beautiful dining areas, some have two even three masters, some master baths have spa tubs, multiple TV's and DVD's. These houses all have pools, some can be heated for an extra charge.

In many cases a golf cart shuttle will transport you from your place to the beach from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9-5 p.m., Sunday through Friday. The shuttle does not operate on Saturday.

Another wonderful aspect of the Singleton area is the town's newest and greatest park, Chaplin Park. Here you'll discover tennis, basketball courts, soccer, baseball fields, biking and walking trails.
